About

Hi, I'm Kendyl!

I'm a multidisciplinary artist from Omaha, Nebraska, currently based in Dallas, Texas. Working primarily in ceramics and painting, I create pieces that explore identity, culture, and the beauty of womanhood, with a deep reverence for Black culture and the women who continue to shape it.

My work is inspired by their individuality, resilience, softness, strength, and the countless stories they carry. Through every piece, I seek to honor those experiences and create space for reflection, connection, and celebration.

I am drawn to clay because of its ability to preserve both intention and imperfection. Each piece is shaped by hand, making every work entirely one of a kind. No two pieces can ever be replicated, just as no two stories are ever the same.

To me, every piece is more than an object. It is a portrait, a story, and a reminder that while no two women share the same journey, we are forever connected through our shared humanity.

I hope that when you encounter my work, you see someone you love. Yourself. Your mother. Your sister. Your daughter. Your friend.

This work is a celebration of women in all their complexity—a tribute to the cultures, histories, and experiences that shape who we are. Uniquely different, yet beautifully connected.

Thank you for being here and for supporting handmade art. It is an honor to create pieces that become part of your space and your story.
