Kendoll

This ceramic vessel is one of one. It was created using a combination of slabs and coiling before being carefully trimmed and thoughtfully altered by hand. Layers of clay were added to create details, texture and movement. From there, the vessel was slowly dried for a month before its first journey through the kiln, known as the bisque firing. Once fired, the piece is carefully glazed by hand, bringing depth, vibrancy, and dimension to its surface before returning to the kiln one final time for the glaze firing.
